Stretching over many years, from the edit suite to archival footage, the film fractures time and space in the same way that our memory does. It is a letter to my grandmother, a journey to glimpse her, through voice recordings and images, through the stories of the individuals and of the places that formed the matrix of my childhood; an intimate portrait of a culture, a narrative of loss and a fragile memento mori.

A short documentary examining how a close-knit community responds to and heals from the darkness of the unknown. In the wake of an unwitnessed murder among shepherds, the locals of the small Romanian village of Sapanta wrestle with their faith, relationships and prejudices. Who is responsible for the tragedy that echoes through the very fibre of this small community? Was it an accident, premeditated murder or divine providence?
A MIDWINTER NIGHT'S DREAM
How does one build a safe and enduring sense of self when pieces of their identity are often at odds and struggle to coexist? In a trance-like moment Vanessa murmurs “I come from far away” - a distance that spans not only geography but also spiritual, cultural, and emotional realms, at times bordering on the otherworldly.
An intimate story about the fraught survival of self at the intersection of cultural and social othering from within and without, and the tender complexities of mothering.
SAVE ME SAVE YOU
In this short essay film, the viewer is invited into the contemplative journey of an artist who ventures to the far reaches of Antarctica, seeking to merge artistic expression with the urgent message of environmental awareness. As he navigates the once-pristine wilderness while enjoying the comforts of his voyage, the film explores the complexities of communication — between humans and nature, the voiced and the voiceless. Through whimsical encounters, the film raises questions about the power and limitations of art: Can it genuinely connect disparate worlds and inspire meaningful action, or is it inevitably bound by the artist's own blind spots, and ultimately a self-serving act?
